One of my favorite things about the entrepreneurial spirit is that it often can’t be contained to just one project or business venture.

My creative friends paint and create YouTube content. Design collectible stickers and 2D animations. Compose music and dance to it.

And, if your names are Heath and Krista, you run a coffee shop and a leather store (in the same space!).

Their shop is called Bond & Bevel, and it’s located over in Caldwell, about 20 minutes outside of Meridian. If you’ve never been, I’m here to let you know that it’s totally worth the drive.

Heath and Krista make amazing coffee. Their signature blends range from medium to dark and include a special espresso blend. They’re chocolatey, sweet, and irreplaceable on my list of favorites.

But coffee is just one of their gifts. The second part of their shop is dedicated to their beautiful handmade leather goods and other specialty products.

Some of my favorite items are their guitar straps, journals, and outdoor gear. They have everything from wooden camp spoons to vintage flashlights to travel chess sets, all made with the highest quality materials and craftsmanship.

(Seriously, this is a great place to shop for your friend who has everything!)

Heath is a true Renaissance man—a leatherworker, a woodworker, a coffee enthusiast… and he rebuilds motorcycles. So, naturally, there’s also a motorcycle on display at Bond & Bevel. Why not?

Our local entrepreneurs are so cool. The spirit of their work is in everything around us.

But I digress. The bottom line is that you’ll love the coffee, the handmade goods, the values, and the vibes at Bond & Bevel. I recommend it to everyone, especially around the holidays. Bring a book and enjoy the atmosphere!
